Dec. 15th Lynndon turned 4! She had been talking about having a "Frozen" birthday since we saw the movie last year when it came out. So we had been planning on having some friends of hers over to watch Frozen and have some treats. Well she had a couple weeks of not being very nice to me or her friends. I had threatened at one point that she would not get friends over for her b-day. Then Bret, with out knowing that i had threatened it said it to her also. So we decided we were not going to just talk but act on it. So after her being mean again, she lost having her friends over.
I felt really bad taking her friends away but I tried to make sure she still had a good b-day. So I still planned on us watching frozen and doing some fun things. She started out her day with some honey nut cheerios. She wanted to chill in her PJ's for awhile so she did. I told her we could get Frozen started. She ran to get it and saw the movie The Grinch and changed her mind! So we watched The Grinch instead of Frozen. I was so shocked that's what she wanted and kept asking her if she was sure. She was sure!
Lynndon decided one day that she didn't want a birthday cake, she wanted sugar cookies with pink frosting. I thought that was awesome, so sugar cookies with pink frosting it was! She was pretty excited to help me make them. After the movie we worked on the cookies and she loved it. The rest of the day was playing, eating pancakes for dinner, opening presents, and eating cookies.
Oh man, Lynndon...this little girl has so much spunk and personality. She can be hilarious and fun. Then other times I think she will be the death of me. She has got her own way of thinking. My days of dressing her in cute clothes and doing her hair how I like is over. I try to persuade her but it doesn't always work. I think it is a good thing that she has her own thoughts and ways of doing things but so frustrating sometimes. I definitely have to pick my battles with her. She is a good kid though and I love her like crazy!

Oh Charise I feel you!! I was just formulating a post on how trying Norah has been, I feel like I take things away from her on a daily basis... its all I have left! Way to stick to your guns, that is hard to do especially when a birthday is involved. I am impressed. Terrible twos have got nothing on the the 3s... maybe 4 will be better! She sure is a cutie though!
"Take a picture mom". I love that one. Please mail her to me anytime!!
