Grandparents & Christmas morning

      Bret's parents came to visit for christmas! It had been a year since we had seen them.  It was great to have them here. We started out the week with going to a basketball game in Las Cruces. It's always fun to go to the NMSU sports events. We also took them to our good ol' Zoo. It was a beautiful day to go and almost all the animals were out. The kids all had little colds so the rest of the time we kept things low key. 

      Christmas Eve, it took the kids soooo long to fall asleep but they did eventually. We then set up all the gifts. Poor Bret was so sick throwing up all night. I don't deal so well with throw up so I slept with the kids. Sleeping in their room I noticed McCoy's cold was getting worse and he was not breathing very well and just coughing like crazy but not being productive. I felt so bad for both of them. 

      So Christmas morning came, Cooper and Lynndon were so excited! We came out to the living room and started with our present opening. McCoy didn't sleep much and was not feeling very good so he did not care about any presents at all. Despite Bret not felling good and McCoy not breathing\felling very good, Cooper and Lynndon I still think had a great Christmas morning. 

      We do a big breakfast after presents. It's one of my favorite things. The missionaries came over to eat with us and use our technology to talk to their families. It was a crazy morning. Bret's parents helped with a lot of stuff while bret just stayed in bed all day. It all worked out ok though. The missionaries had a good time talking to their family. We also got to Skype with Sadie, it was fun to talk to her!
