It was weird to celebrate the the fourth of July not in the states. Kids went to school like a normal day. There were no red white and blue everything every where. Luckily their school gets out at noon so we started our party. We had friends over for a BBQ and headed over to the base for all the festivities and fireworks. Then it felt like the 4th!
