Paris-Temple, Notre Dame, Sacre Coeur and artist area.

Sunday morning we went to the first hour of church and then took a train to go see the Paris temple. We missed the open house for it by like a week so we just peeked into the gardens and saw the outside. It is beautiful. After taking the train back we changed out of church clothes and then headed to Notre Dame. It is an amazing building. I think it looks cool. We opted out of waiting in the really long line to go up to the bell tower though. So we didn't see if the hunchback was up there. We ended the night hanging out at the canal. It was apparently the place to be on a Sunday evening. We also apparently forgot our beer and cigarettes... It was a beautiful evening and was fun being there but man alive it was hard to breath and stunk.
Monday we headed to Sacre Coeur and found the little artist town near it. It was another favorite area of Paris for us. It was a cool view of Paris up there also. We then found a place for some lunch and then made it to our train to go home. We had fun doing this together and I'm so glad we did but we were also excited to go back home and see our kids.
The beautiful temple. After the Eiffel Tower was built and a couple other tall buildings the people of Paris complained about having tall buildings and didn't want them. There is a law now that you can't build over a certain height. So there is no Moroni on this temple.

Peeking through the gate into the garden area. They have a Christus in there. It is on the right of the tall skinny trees.

Train ride back. You can see the Eiffel tower everywhere.

Notre Dame

Back side of Notre Dame

The side. I like the gothic style of architecture.

The inside.

Joan of Arc

Our first hang out spot.

Lots of people all the way down the canal.

Another hang out spot until we got smoked out.
Sacre Coeur

We saw a lot of people being statues while walking around Paris. This guy however was by far the best!

I kinda wish I knew the story behind this. You can tell people have rubbed his fingers a lot.

Eating our lunch before we left. Bret had frog legs. As we were sitting there  we noticed a lot of stores around were "Adult" stores.  After we were done eating and walking to our train we noticed we were really close to Moulin Rouge.

We were just down the street from it. All the adult stores around us made sense after that.

Getting on the train back home.
