Because my sister and her hubby were able to come, Bret and I were able to take a trip to Paris for our 10 year anniversary (thanks again guys)! It was unreal and so cool. We spent about 4 days there. I don't care for big crowds or big cities but am starting to get a little more used to it and was so excited to see these historical places and be with bret and kidless. Bret on the other hand does not like big crowds or looking at historical things for too long. He humored me though and came along with, because who else do you go to Paris with beside your love!
The morning of April 7th we got up early and took our 3 hour train there, got set up in our airbnb and then headed to the Louvre. The Louvre is huge!!! We saw a lot of paintings and sculptures and spent way more time there than we planned. We made the mistake of wandering around and then deciding to find the Mona Lisa. We should have found her first then wandered around. We would have spent less time there. It was still cool to see the Mona Lisa and other Paintings and sculptures. We then went back to our place and got ready for our dinner on the Eiffel Tower! Dinner was so good and a fun experience. We also saw the Eiffel Tower "sparkle" twice. Once before we went up for dinner and once as we were leaving. It was the perfect evening celebrating our 10 years of marriage! I love this guy!!!
