TN-The Game UT vs. USU

The last night I was in Tennessee was the football game! My sister loves TN and our friends that live there of course do also but my brother goes to Utah State so we were a split group. Renee and I were split also, hence our awesome shirts my mom and sister put together. It was crazy. People were saying that the game was sold out and I couldn't believe that so many people would want to go to a USU vs UT game. As it turns out they do want to go. It was packed! USU didn't do so hot. By the 3rd quarter people were starting to leave so we were not so packed in. It was still fun to go there and kinda of cheer for both teams. I could't help but get into the TN cheers as the whole stadium was doing them but USU also needed a little help with cheering. I didn't think I cared to much but it made me miss going to a UW game and doing those cheers and traditions, for example- "first and ten wisconsin", jump around, all the different ways they do the wave, singing "Varsity"...etc.  We thought it was going to rain on us a lot during the game but it only rained for a bit just before the game started. We were prepared though and had our ponchos. Here are all of our pictures during the game!

Just before the game started...and the rain.

Our Shirts! We got lots of comments and one guy that asked to take our picture because his wife would like the shirts.

Seriously, so many people at this game!

The USU peeps.

The TN peeps.

After the game Renee and I stayed at one of her friends house there in Knoxville so that I could fly out the next morning to go home. It ended up being an awful night and I felt like crap which made for a not so fun time traveling home. I did eventually make it home and was so excited to see my kids again! Bret was hunting so I didn't get to see him for another few days.
It was such a fun trip to get away, not have to many responsibilities, and have some fun with my family. My kids also had a good time staying at a friends house and hanging out with dad. Cooper told me before I left that he was happy and sad. Happy because he gets to be with his friends. Sad because I was going be gone. It made me laugh but I felt the same way ;) Just in case I didn't say it enough...I had a really good time! Maybe one day Bret and I will get to go on a trip together...
