About a week or so after christmas it snowed here! The kids were pretty excited so we went outside as soon as we could. I also wasn't sure how long it was going to last so we took advantage of it while we could. We did manage to make a little snowman. The snow was pretty good for making a snowman, there just wasn't much snow to use. It was all gone by the end of the day but we still had fun.

A couple weeks later Bret had to be in Albuquerque to take his state licensing test. It is a 3.5 hour drive so we decided to make it a couple day trip and go to the temple. Our friends the Boydens came up and stayed with us the second night so we could trade off going to the temple and watching each others kids. We also went out to dinner one night with our friends the Frisby's (we met in Wisconsin) that live in Albuquerque now.
