My friend Jill makes Waldorf dolls and had the chance to go to a doll class in England at the end of September. I love England and wanted to go and she was cool with having a travel buddy. So she and I went to Newton Abbot, southern England, kidless. It was awesome. She did her class and I watched, chatted some with the ladies in the class, and read my book some. One of the days I walked around where we were staying and explored that area. The lady and her hubby of where the class was held were so nice! He took me out to some of the local areas and showed them to me. It was so fun and cool to be walking around with an English man and hearing his stories of the area. It may sound creepy but it wasn't. He just happen to be a Veterinarian also so we had fun talking about that. He also offered Bret a job there when we are done here. As exciting as that would be, England is even more gloomy than Germany and I am excited to go back home when we are done here.
Traveling there was a long day! It really isn't that long of a flight but we had 2 of them and there was so much fog in Amsterdam, where our layover was, that we got stuck there for about 6 hours. We eventually found a way to get where we needed to go. It just took changing our flight to a different airport, a bus ride, and a couple train rides. We left our houses at about 3:30 in the morning and got to our hotel in England at about 9:30 at night. It was crazy and really shouldn't have taken that long but thats just how things panned out thanks to bad weather.

| This is the fog. It looked like this out our window until the wheels hit the ground and then you could see a little bit of the ground. |
| This is the beginning of our long stay at the Amsterdam airport. Eating some food thanks to the vouchers they gave us for our flight being canceled. |
| A few hours into our airport stay eating some caramel waffles. |
| We made it into England. Riding the bus to the train. At this point we were not as chipper but doing alright. |
