England part 2-Newton Abbot, Bath

Some of these pictures are from my site seeing with Marcus and most of the others are from our stop in Bath, England. Our travel home was a lot smoother so we were able to stop in Bath on the way to the airport to explore that city a little. We had a good time and I am so Grateful for Jill and her friendship.

Marcus called these houses the "chocolate houses" because they are on the wrapper of some kind of chocolate.

A little chapel and cemetery.

The "numbers" on the clock are really letters that say "My dear Madre". You can kind of make it out if you start at 9 o'clock and go around to 3 o'clock, then back to 10 o'clock and back the other way to 4 o'clock.

The other side of the chapel.

This area is so beautiful!

Making some progress on the dolls.

I had to take a picture of this before we left our room. The rooms were not numbered but had names. Ours was the Puffin room. This picture was the only thing that had to do with Puffins in the room, I thought it was funny.

We made it to Bath. Standing outside the King and Queen's Bath.

Bath street.

The cathedral and on the right is the entrance to the Bath house.

Looking down into the main bath. Obviously it is not used any more.

Another view of the Cathedral.

Standing closer to the Bath.

A beautiful park area in downtown Bath.

The Putney bridge.

Eating in one of the cafés on the bridge.

The view out the window.

We walked down the bridge and looked at the shops and cafes.
We found a market there with an awesome used book store. The books were super cheap so a I bought a few to bring home.  I was also excited to be looking at books that are in English and not German.
On our flight back home. Sunshine above the clouds.
