We spent two days seeing Rome. One day was with a tour guide to see the colosseum, roman forum, and the pantheon. These are just the picture from the colosseum and roman forum. The colosseum was really cool and one of everyones top places on our trip. Rome is huge but amazing. What I didn't know is that over the thousands of years they just kept building up. They have excavated so much and there is still so much more. The tour guide explained that some of the places we were walking on had old towns and cities under us. At one place in the city you could look over the edge of a bridge and see where the old town streets and shops were. Its so crazy!

| Bret was excited... |
 |
| Only about a 1/3 of the Colosseum is original. The right side is original. You can see the line above the arch on the left where its rebuilt. |
 |
| Imagine the floor on the left went all the way across. Then there were these rooms all under it where they kept the fighters and animals. |

| Arch heading into the Roman Forum. |

| This building is on that has a couple more levels underneath it. |
