Salzburg-Mirabell gardens, toy museum, and Mozart's birthplace

Our last stop was back to Salzburg. We went to the toy museum, which was pretty fun. It had old toys to just look at and some toys to play with. After playing there we headed to Mirabell gardens. Not only is it beautiful there, it is also another Sound of Music spot where they do the scene with the song Do-re-me. This trip really was so fun and went fairy smooth. Some of the day to day things are tough living in a different country but these trips are so amazing.

Side note: We also took a tour of Mozart's Birthplace but it was before we went to Vienna. It was tiny and we were not allowed to take pictures inside but it was still interesting. We were not planning on doing both Mozart's home and birthplace but one of the days we were there was a holiday so some places were closed. Mozart's places were not though.

Mozart's birthplace.

Cute kids couch (and cute kids) in the lobby of our hotel.

Walking across a bridge to get to the museum. Its fun to see all the locks.
Lynndon wanted a picture with them.

This is just a picture of us trying to get a picture...

Playing in the arches outside the toy museum.

Playing with the free marble they have there for you.

Bret made a scooter for the kids.

We just blend right into the walls...

Putting together a marble run.

Getting some info on these old toys.

Lynndon was pretty excited about the barbie setup.

The stairs into the Mirabell gardens. Also the spot they filmed the song Do-Re-Me.

The family we asked to take this picture for us was American and then as we got talking to them more we found out they were also LDS. We ended up chatting with them for awhile.

McCoy running around the fountain.

And the peaceful car ride home.
