Bret met Lane through the military since moving here. They are stationed a couple hours north of us. Bret went and stayed with them at one point so he could go to work with Lane and watch him do a surgery. A couple weeks later he and his family were going to be coming down here for a week so Lane could help out in the clinic here with Bret. They have 5 boys and Heather, the mom/Lanes wife, homeschools them. They follow Lane whenever he goes on trips like this. It is pretty awesome they get to do that. They were going to camp somewhere but we offered for them to just stay here. They took our offer and we had fun. Their youngest is Coopers age and everyone got along pretty well. They were good to help out and clean up after themselves.
As it turns out Bret is following in his foot steps. Lane did his undergrad at BYU (Bret went to BYU-I) got an animal science degree, then moved on to UW for Vet school, and joined the military. Lane went on to do a residency through the military for surgery. If we stay in the military that is what Bret would most likely do. So we may just keep following them. We'll see.
We went with them on a trip one of the days to go see some ruins. The ruins use to be a military bunker. It was quite the hike up a crazy hill but once you got up there you could see why they have it there. It is way up on a hill and you can see every thing. It is pretty crazy to think about how it was then and the things they built so many years ago! Any who, we had fun and it really wasn't so bad having an extra 7 people in our house.

| It's a good thing our bathroom is big and has 2 sinks. |
 |
| These boys were so good to our kids especially McCoy. |
 |
| All the kids starting at age 14 down to 2 years. It seems like Lynndon is always the only girl when we hang out with people. She takes it like a champ but definitely wants to hang out with girls. |
 |
| This pic helps me remember when we went because of good ole "no shave November" on Bret's face. |

| Heading back down. |
