Lynndon's 3rd Birthday

Dec. 15th Lynndon turned 3! This little girl...I love her so much. There are some days her attitude gets to me, and her climbing, getting hurt, and getting into things makes me so nervous. On the other hand she can say and do things that has me laughing pretty hard. Her yelling "I love you mom" through her bedroom door after putting her down for a nap or for bed gets me every time. When Bret or I get home from somewhere (even if it hasn't been that long) she will run up to us screaming "mooooom" or "daaaaad" and give us a big hug. I love it! She is all girl. Loves jewelry, dress up, princesses, and pink, of course. Yet she is not afraid to get dirty or smash a bug.
There was a lot going on on her birthday so we had our friends, the Boydens, over the night before and had cupcakes and sang to her. The next morning, her actual birthday, we asked if she wanted to open her presents. She said "no it's not my birthday anymore." It took a lot of convincing that it was her birthday and to get her to open her gifts. She was even willing to go take them to one of our friends a couple houses down whose birthday it was also but he is 30 something and I don't think he would have liked her gifts to much. She is funny. She wanted a Mermaid birthday and pink cake. So there are pictures of mermaids on the sticks that are in the cupcakes. She was in little girl heaven after finally opening her gifts.

(Gotta love the post nap hair :) )

All ready for church on her b-day.

Why is it that when kids are born they seem so far apart in age, but as they get older they seem more similar. I can't believe she's already three!!! And still a doll!
