Every year they have a hot air balloon invitational here. Its not as big as Albuquerque's balloon festival but still sounded fun. It was a couple weeks ago. They said they launch the balloons saturday morning at white sands and sunday morning at the balloon park. It took us an hour to get into white sands, slowly moving in a line of cars, it usually takes about 10 mins. There must have been to much wind, they didn't launch them. We then went to the balloon glow that night...there were no balloons just fire. So third times a charm we went sunday morning and they actually had balloons going!

Although, at the balloon glow they had a bouncy slide and we saw our friends the Gray's. So that was fun. We knew it was going to be late so we took the kids in PJs.

And then came Sunday morning. We rolled out of bed all in pjs and got there after about half of the balloons had taken off. It was fun and the kids thought it was cool.
