We did a lot this week so this is kind of a longer post. This week started with driving up to Appleton on Sunday afternoon. We then spent a couple days just hanging out at Brets parents playing. We did some singing at the piano, which Cooper loves, playing with some of G-ma's toys, like blocks, legos and the fold out Thomas train, and playing at the mall. Denni and I spent one day shopping for fabric to make a scripture bag and then making the bag. It turned out super cute! I probably could have put one together on my own but it would not have turned out as great as it did with major help from Denni (thanks Denni!).
Thursday we went up to Green Bay to spend some time with Bart, Ashli and their kids. We spent the night there and then Friday was my birthday. I was really bummed that Bret wasn't there but who better to replace Bret then his family, right? I woke up that morning and my cute nephew's Kade and Ky had made me a couple cards and then I got one from their family. When Bart came home from work he had some roses for me, what girl doesn't love getting flowers?! Later that day we went back to Appleton. Brets g-parents, Bob and Dot, had come up from Iowa to spend the weekend and that night we all went out to dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings.
Saturday we went to the Appleton children's museum, which was really fun, and then we came back and I put my kids down for a nap. While the kids were sleeping Ashli took me to an awesome store called Discovery Clothes! It was so fun to go shopping with Ashli... and have no kids with us! It was great, thanks Ashli! After shopping we came back to the house and I got sung to, and we had cake and ice cream. So I kinda got to celebrate my b-day for a couple days. Sunday we had dinner up in Green Bay and then today we came back home. Over all it was a pretty good week minus the missing Bret parts.
Thanks Bob, Dot, Zen, Denni, Sadie, Bart, Ashli, Ky, Kade, and Krew:) for a good week and taking care of us! We love you guys.
