Silly Kids

Cooper is a sunbeam!!! It is so crazy to me. The first week he was in there I teared up a little. He was so cute sitting there with all the other cute little sunbeams. One of the perks of being in primary now is he gets to be the reverence child every once in a while. They wear the banner thing and stand up on the stand with their arms folded until church starts and then at the beginning of primary they stand up front as an example.  This last Sunday was Coopers turn and he was all sorts of excited. Let me tell you how great of a reverence example he was...sitting there on my lap curled up in a ball. He would not stand up there at the beginning of sacrament meeting or primary. We tried so hard to get him to do it. I even tried bribing him but it didn't work.  Bret and I were talking about how our kids are bound to be shy because we both were really shy. Bret got over it and I am not as shy as I used to be but still have some issues. Hopefully we can find a way to help our kids not be so shy.
All smiles before church, at church...not so much.
After I took a picture of Cooper he said "it's Lynndon's turn" so here is Lynndon Sunday morning.

A lot of nights before Bret and I go to bed a just open the kids door and check on them. Well this is what i've found quite a few times. Apparently the chair is more comfy then his bed or he knows he is not supposed to get into Lynndon's crib so that's as close to her as he can get.
Lynndon climbs on EVERTHING. I'm standing in the kitchen making dinner and look over to see her up here!

Lynndon "singing" into the mic of our keyboard. I have one of Cooper also but it won't load for some reason.

Bret is leaving for a MONTH? Whoa. The evening went well, but it was after a fairly grouchy (me) and long day. The only way I've survived Scott being gone so much is having lots of play dates and help. So let's line some dates up for when Bret is gone so that you can have some "sanity time". You can just drop those kids off and do whatever you need to do.
