We borrowed an RV from someone Bret worked with and headed to Moab for some family hiking time. It was fun but slippery so it was a little nerve wracking with a very confident toddler...and Cooper didn't have great shoes. This day we made it to the famous Utah arch. Like I said it was slippery, well at one point the path was not very wide and we had to pass people going the other direction. Cooper moved aside for someone but slipped and went down the side. They tried to grab him but didn't make it. Luckily it was not too far and and easy walk for him to meet back up with us and we could see him the whole time. It was a small scary moment. You could see the fear in his eyes as he slid down on his belly and he wasn't sure how it would go. There were definitely places on that hike had someone slipped down, it would not have been good. So I was so glad he was ok and it was not too big of a deal but we did find a second hand store later and bought him better boots. I had forgot my coat so we bought a coat too. The guy that worked at the RV place let me borrow his for the hike. He was so so nice! Im so glad everything ended ok.
