We got all our decorations put up for Christmas and lit the first advent candle. Another week and some later Renee went into labor with Ole. She let me hang around and help her labor at home for a while. I loved being part of it and pretending to be a doula. However it was covid time so I was not allowed to go with them to the hospital for the actual delivery which I was bummed about but she did great and Ole was born healthy and fast.
