Bret took the week of the 4th of July off and we played in Kanab and spent a day at Bryce Canyon. I was just getting over whatever sickness the boys had had so I didn't do the hiking and just waited at the top for Bret and the kids. If covid was a thing at that time I would have said that's what we had. It was not fun. However covid didn't come along for another 8 months and then we did eventually get covid, it was not as bad as whatever we had this time. We also happened to be in Kanab at the same time as our friends from our ward in Germany, the McDonald's and the Culpepper's. We invited them to my parents for ice cream and to catch up. It was so fun to see them!
