Bret talked me into going to Spain over Thanksgiving. So early Thanksgiving morning we set off for the airport and flew to Spain. It was honestly so great and fun. We didn't have the traditional turkey dinner but I was actually ok with that. We did check out Seville some, saw flamenco dancers (so fun!!), and had our "Thanksgiving dinner" at a restaurant. The best part about the day and the whole trip all together was the sunshine and warmth! It was so awesome!
A little side note. Germans are strict and do not take their kids out of school for any reason other than sickness and maybe a wedding or a funeral. So we had to get permission to take the kids out of school for 2 days. It was funny to me. We had to fill out a paper explaining why they were not going to be there. A few days later we received a letter in the mail giving permission to take them out for those couple days.
