We took some trips and saw some things and places while Bret's parents were here. We saw some new things for us and took them to places we have been to and enjoy. One new place was Dachau concentration camp. The kids can't really go and Bret didn't care to go so he stayed with the kids while Zen, Denni, and I went. The concentrations camps are so sad and humbling. Later we took a few days and traveled to Switzerland, a quick trip into France, and Triberg Germany. These places are so beautiful and we had fun showing them to Bret's parents.

| I think this picture was the Sunday before Christmas. |
| Holding up the snowman. This was while we were in the concentration camp. |
| Where one of the bunkers use to be. One bunker was made to hold about 200 men but when they were liberated there were about 2,000 in one. |
| Walking down the lane where all the bunkers were. |
| It really was not that long of a walk from the front. However I could not imagine making that walk for "roll call" and being sick, tired, and weak. |
| A grave for a lot of unknown people. |
| The ditch before the wired electric fence, watch tower and to the left, the rows of where bunkers use to be. |
| The front gate with the saying "Work sets you free". |
| Out front of the camp. |
| Rheinfalls! |
| Interlaken, Switzerland. |
| We spent a night in Bern Switzerland and then traded off with Bret's parents to go to the temple. I love this view of Bern. I also love the people in this picture! |
| A statue of Albert Einstein in Bern. He lived there for about 7 years. |
| We stayed the second night near the France border. When we woke up the next morning our car had no power steering. Luckily Bret knew what he was doing and the guy that owned the AirBnb had some tools. An hour and some later the car was good to go and we were on our way. |
| Strasbourg, France. |
| Inside the cathedral in Strasbourg. |
| A memorial for American soldiers inside the cathedral. |
| A big amazing astrological clock in the cathedral. |
| On our way to Triberg we stopped to see the biggest coo coo clock that's in the black forest. |
| People like to buy coo coo clocks while they are here. I just don't love them that much. I do like the grandfather clocks though. This one I loved but was "only" 5,000 euros... so a picture of it it is. |
| In front of the waterfall in Triberg just before the fire show. |
| Beginning of the show. It is cold but so fun and you get the random warmth of the fire every so often. |
| We walked around the festival/market and came across this show. This couple played songs on some hand bells. They had some people come up and help with a song. Bret, our kids and some Christman kids are up there. |
