A few days after school got out we left for Slovenia and Croatia with our friends the Christmans. After the cooler summer we were having, we were all excited to go toward warmer weather. We had an unfortunate happening with our pictures and lost a lot of them. We still have a good amount here though that we had and our friends sent us some they had.
In Slovania we went on this beautiful boardwalk through this gorge, saw some awesomely huge caves, and went to Lake Bled. In Croatia we took a very long walk/hike around Waterfall national park. It was beautiful but so many people on a skinny board walk. Im just glad no one fell or got bumped into the water. We also went swimming one day by a waterfall and then ended our trip with playing in the ocean and then checking out the sea organ. Bret and Jason were planning on going scuba diving while we were there. Bret made sure to get certified and everything before we went. They were very excited about it. When they got to the place to get with the group to scuba dive, the lady had failed to add them to the list. Jason even showed them his email verification but they were like "sorry, you can go another day". However we were leaving the next day so they just didn't get to go. They were really bummed about it but Jill and I were excited that we got more time with them at the beach.

| We got the two little boys in our car for the beginning of our trip. They are so funny to listen to. This is them holding their breath through a tunnel. |
| The gorge. It was gorgeous...haha. It really was pretty though. |
| We went right when it opened so there were not very many people. By the time we left though it was getting a little crazy. |
| You have to stop to throw rocks in. |
| This area was fun to see all the rock piles. |
| The kids went down to make their own rock piles. |
| Getting ready to ride this little tram thing through part of the caves. |
| This is a rare animal that lives in these caves. Its kinda funky looking. |
| McCoy and I and the only picture I have of the caves. It really was cool. There was one spot that was a big open area and they had chandeliers hanging in there. |
| Sadly I don't have any pictures of Lake Bled. So I stole this one. We rented a row boat and Bret rowed us to this island. So we explored this island and the outside of the church that is on it. |
| This was towards the beginning of our walk through waterfall national park. Again, sadly, the few pictures I have from this are not of the waterfalls we saw, just the walk. I did take some but they are gone. |
| We found a little open dirt area to stop and eat some food. |
| Jack and McCoy walking. If you can't tell there is water on both sides of this board walk. |
| This is not waterfall national park but another spot we went to for swimming by a waterfall. This picture was on our way to where we swam. |
| Eating after swimming by the waterfall. And no picture of the waterfall... |
| The water is so clear here and not really too cold. You just had to wear shoes because it is all rocks and no sand. |
| This is when we were at the sea organ. The kids are getting really close to the holes where the sound comes out. It was so cool and I'm so glad we went down there. You can see Cooper looking down one of the holes. You just stand around there and the air and water make noise through the holes and it sounds like an organ. |
| Doing cartwheels in this area where the organ is. |
| Bret and Jason went out one night to find us some food. It was a little windy and rainy. |
| This rock wall was in the Hostel we stayed at on our way back home. |
