Bret and his friends, Jason and Darin, decided they wanted to train for an Ultra marathon that was in the swiss alps. As part of their training they singed up for a couple marathons that were in the alps. I think they were crazy but to each their own. These are pictures from the first race. They all did fairly well and finished the race. They were also very sore the next few days and Bret said it was one of the harder things he's done. Sadly though Bret did not get to do the next marathon or the Ultra marathon due to a car accident he was in. He was somewhat bummed because he had spent a lot of time training and then not getting to do what he trained for. On the flip side though we got to spend more time with him than we planned because he wasn't training or going to these races. We were also feeling grateful that he was not hurt any worse in the accident.
