We had to go to the Kraut festival! Bret has told me so many times how German sauerkraut is better than American. Turns out he is right. I don't like sauerkraut but I can handle German sauerkraut. This festival was all about Cabbage in general. It was pretty fun/funny and we went with one of our good friends, the Christmans.

| A group of girls did a dance with some cabbage. They were selling a recipe book on different things you can make with cabbage. We bought one! |
| Cotton candy! All the cotton candy we have seen here has no colors. Just a funny random fact, the kids still like it! |
| A Kraut burger! It was just a hamburger with shredded cabbage. It was pretty good actually. |
| Just a couple cabbages... |
| Our cabbage we bought :) |
| Sometimes you meet interesting people here... |
| One of our cabbage meals. There is ground sausage under all that cabbage. It wasn't too bad. We also made a fruit salad like meal with the rest of it another day. That was pretty good also. |

Ok, that man with the plastic wig is freaky! And huge! (Or else everyone else is super short) I love that the little girls were dancing with cabbage! What a great festival to have- around such a healthy food! It doesn't surprise me that the cotton candy would be colorless. I know at least when I lived in Switzerland 10 years ago there were laws against eating food dye. They thought us Americans were disgusting for our colored candy and treats. :) It just looks like you are doing so many fun things and really taking advantage of being there. If Dave and I make it over to Europe in the next year or two we will have to visit you guys! (Ok, though we totally don't have the money to fly us all over, we still talk about it!)
