Playing at White Sands

I know I have posted a lot about white sands since we've moved here but it's a place we like. It had been almost a year though since we had been there. MLK Jr. day was coming up and there was no school and Bret didn't have to work. We decided to invite some friends, take some food and play for part of the day. There were about 5 families that came. The sand was a little wet which is perfect for sledding down it. The weather was great and we had so much fun.
White Sands is a great mix of visiting a beach and sledding. The kids can play with the sand and I don't have to worry about them drowning in water. Sledding down a hill like snow is awesome with out the cold and having to be bundled up. It's great!!!

This happened every time. The kids would pile into the one sled and when they would get to the bottom the sled would stop but the kids wouldn't.

Then it turns into the men thinking they are younger than they are and trying to surf down the hill.

I looked over and saw that they were all carrying the sled back up the hill together. It was so cute.
I'm not really sure if McCoy liked it or not...
