The day my parents left, my brother Zed and his wife and kids got here to visit for a week! My sister Renee joined us at the the end of that week also! We had fun hanging out and talking/laughing. We tried to go swimming at WSMR but it was closed so we headed to Las Cruces and found a place there that was actually pretty fun. We attempted to go to White Sands but it was WAY to windy so we didn't last very long. Bret and Zed went turkey hunting for few days up in the mountains. We did little things here on base and had fun.
Living on a military base people can't just come straight to our house unless they are military and have their ID with them. We have to go to a visitor center and sign them on base. Then they can be on base but have to stick with us. It kind of sounds crazy but it's not that bad. My brother is in the National Guard so they could get themselves on base and go anywhere on base with out us. It was kind of nice. However we do love it when people come to visit us so we would sign any family/friends on base if they came to visit!
We loved having all our visitors in April! We miss our families all the time and love seeing them. I seem to always have a hard time though after everyone leaves. Bret calls it the post family blues. I tried to be more positive and not cry so much this time I did pretty good but a couple days later at dinner I was talking to Bret about something random and the tears just came. I haven't lived by my family since I graduated high school. You'd think that you'd get use to saying hi and bye all the time but it's hard. Any who, here are some pics.

| Ken jumping. I know that this looks like he might belly flop and brake his back or smash his face on that toy but I a sure you he made it safe with no injuries. |
| We had to check out the planes of course. We do live on an air force base. |
| There is a half circle of planes and the kids had fun running past them all. |
| Easton and Elyse hangin out in front of the planes and flags. You might notice the nice green grass here in the desert...it's turf. |
| Auntie Nae teaching very important dance moves. |
| The few that braved the wind and getting pelted by sand. |
| How others enjoyed the sand dunes. |
