A few weekends ago we went camping with some friends at Elephant Butte, one of the few areas with water around here. We had a lot of fun. At one point I was ready to be done because the wind was driving me nuts but it eventually stopped and it was beautiful. The kids loved playing in the water all day and we had fun hangin out with some friends. I love that there were no mosquitos and even though it is hot during the day, the evenings and mornings are not so bad. We even got a little cold at night. During the day if you got hot you just go jump in the water. We did come home with a lot of sand in everything and a little burn (despite all the sunscreen we put on) but I'm glad we went.
