My Moms b-day

 My moms b-day was the 25th of Nov. We were planning on getting to kanab late the 26th to hang out for about a week for Thanksgiving. We also wanted to go to our ward temple trip that weekend before but that meant we were going to drive about 4 hours sat to go to the temple, drive back home just for Bret to work that Mon and then leave back that same direction Tues. Then i realized that Mon was my moms b-day, which I hadn't put that together. We made kind of a last minute decision for Bret to take off another day and we went to the temple that weekend and then just left for Kanab from Albuquerque. However we did not tell my family that we decided to come a couple days earlier. We got to Kanab Sunday night but my parents were not home or answering their phone. So I called my brother who lives in Kanab also and he was not in town but informed me that my parents were at a choir practice at the high school. We then decided to go find their car in the parking lot and put our kids in the back seat. My parents came out just a few minutes later and were surprised to find kids in their car, but not just any kids, our kids! Bret and I had fun watching from behind another car. We were glad that we went earlier. I love spending extra time with my mom!
