Christmas Time

This year for Christmas we stayed at home. We had the lovely company of Bret's parents and sister here to celebrate with us. It was so fun to have them here and show them the fun little things of southern New Mexico and to actually have a home for them to stay in! We did a lot of chatting, playing at white sands and Cloudcroft, seeing the jets, doorbell ditching gifts for a family, had our big breakfast Christmas morning with the missionaries over, and Bret, Sadie and I went out one night for fun. We love family!

We got to see Santa a couple times this year. I think this is s first that Cooper has actually sat on Santa's lap and told him what he wanted. In Madison we never saw Santa except at the mall and I can't get myself to pay that much for a picture. We did see him one other place but it was just seeing him from afar kinda. We have no Picture with Lynndon and Santa because she was super glued to me as soon as Santa would enter a room and if I started walking close to him she would start shaking and screaming\crying.

We drove around Christmas Eve looking at Lights. Found this street that a bunch of houses in a row kinda coordinate together and Santa is standing out there greeting people.

The kids got a trampoline for Christmas! It took "Santa" (a.k.a. Sadie, Zen, and Bret) a long time to set it up in the wind, rain, and dark.

Christmas day we went to White Sands and saw this guy there with his camel. Which was the same one that came onto base for the 4th of July that had to get Bret's approval before coming on. Cooper was brave enough to pet her.

Lynndon however was not so excited to pet her but she did touch her eventually.
