Our house in Page sat empty for a while and then the people we bought it from bought it but still didn't do much in the backyard the couple years they were there. So after we bought it we decided we were going to clean it up some. The kids and I started with the rocks in this corner. They were buried under so much sand! We then prepped the grass area where there use to be grass and then laid down sod. It looked better and was nice to have a little area that was slightly less sandy. After looking at these pictures it looks like the kids did almost all the work. I promise Bret and I did the most and they just helped some.
