These first couple pictures were actually taken on the way home from Texas when we stayed a night in Roswell NM. There was word going around about Covid and that it was now in the states. The kids had their spring break but then schools decided to shut down for a "couple weeks" to try and stop the spread. Well that spring break turned into the rest of the year off school. We tried to keep a school routine and picked up the packets at the school for the kids to do. It was definitely weird and crazy but that was life at that point. Bret was the first in our family to celebrate a birthday during the pandemic shutdown. We just stayed at home and ate some lasagna and cheesecake. We are pretty glad to have him around!
