In January of 2020 Bret and I flew back into Chicago for Sadie and Zach's wedding. It was a fun little trip and we loved being able to be there and support them!
A side story: On our flight home from their wedding there was a guy that sat right behind me on the plane. He had a seizure during the flight. It was a little crazy and people were panicked some. The guys son, who was late teens/early twenties, that was with him was definitely panicked. The guy was ok but we did have to make an emergency landing so he could get proper medical attention. The son was crying and had his head in his hands as we were descending. The son was kitty corner behind me so I reached back and asked if he was ok as that was a scary thing to happen and watch. He said ya and didn't seem too bothered that I was talking to him. I hope it was ok that I did that. We did eventually land and they got off and we hung out on the plane for about an hour before we could take off again. It was an eventful short trip.
