More Utah family and the Heaton Ranch

My Great Great grandparents Charles and Maggie Heaton started the Heaton Ranch, in southern Utah. It is some land with some cabins. I grew up going to the Heaton ranch almost every year for family reunions with my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. However, this year I was here for a BIG family reunion. All descendants from Charles and Maggie were invited. Charles and Maggie had 10 kids so it was a lot of people. Im sure it was only a small fraction of family members that were actually there though. A few days before the reunion we went up to the Ranch to get things set up. A couple days later we went back to the ranch for the reunion. We met a lot of family members, played games, ate food, looked at some of my great great grandparents things and had a little program. It is always fun going to the Heaton Ranch!
It was also Papo's b-day in between the days at the ranch so we have some pics of that.

Piper and Patrick ready for their first time at the ranch.
Kids getting ready to go out on the pond out in front of the A frame cabin.

Out on the pond.
Kids bumming a ride from Zed and Elyse.
Most of us are happy to be at the ranch.

It was a little muddy.

The rain started to come down hard so we sat to wait it out.

Happy Birthday Uncle Papo

At the reunion! Im pretty sure I didn't hold Piper the whole day except to feed her.

This swing has countless hours worth of kids swinging on it.

Digging for treasures.

Papa Kenny giving Lynndon and McCoy a canoe ride.

I think they were playing frisbee here.

Cooking the food.

My great great grandmothers Book of Mormon. I'm writing about this like a year and a half after it happened but I believe in the front page is her testimony. If its not in here it was in a notebook. It was cool to read and hear her positive thoughts on women and the priesthood.

I believe this was her temple dress.

More playing in the muddy pond.

Some of the people at the program.

And just a cute baby hanging out at night.
