Last days in Gärtringen and first days staying with Christmans

Once we moved out of our house we stayed with Christmans for about a week before we actually flew out. School in Germany doesn't get out until the end of July so we took our kids out about a month early and just enjoyed our last week of Germany.  These pictures are some of our lasts in our cute little town and then some of the first few days with Christmans.
Last little bit in our house. One of McCoys teachers gave him that spiderman.

McCoys little German bestie Jacob (pronounced Yacob).  Again, like Cooper and his friend Marcel, these two started out playing so well even though they were not able to understand each other much.

McCoys favorite teacher Sandy. She's the one that gave him the spiderman.  His last day she teared up and tried to play it cool when we left but then the director of the school started crying too and then I lost it. These are good people and we don't know when or if we'll get to see them again.

Lynndon and her German school friends. The one with her arm around her is Lucy.

Last day of German school for Cooper and Lynndon.

Front doors of the school.

These are our neighbors from across the street, the Paulus family. We took them a gift of American things before we left. That resulted in more crying for me and Sabrina. They gave us this puzzle of their faces. I love it and thought it was a great idea.

One more picture at our house before we leave.

So many memories in this house...

Goodbye our German home.

Men cooking in the kitchen is great.

Piper started trying to roll over while we were at the Christmans.

Levi and Piper

8 kids at the park and myself. Jill came and joined me later. We all enjoyed the time with the Christmans before we left.
