Italy-Florence, Germany-Garmisch

Our final stops were Florence and then just to break up our drive home we stayed a night in Garmisch Germany. We were starting to feel worn out by the time we got to Florence so we only did the museum that had Michelangelo's David. It was cool and I'm glad we did it. We stopped and had lunch outside the Duomo and had our last fix of gelato. We also ran into some people from southern Utah while we were there. It was really fun to talk to them and made me a little homesick. We then drove to Garmisch. Before we finished our final drive home we did the alpine rollercoaster and did some swimming. The kids were in heaven and the things we did in Garmisch Germany was their favorite part of our whole "Italy" trip.

Cooper was my museum buddy. He got into it some and would stay with me when Bret and the other two would give up listening. It was great to have someone be interested with me. He and I would give the others the interesting facts and it worked out.

The Duomo is so big!

Eating our lunch.
We were standing like this waiting for the kids to finish their gelato and the people we met earlier took this picture for us.
We stopped in Nove, Itlay on the way home to get pottery. It was also a bathroom break. This was the first for us to use "squaty potties" as we call them,

Cute little part of Garmisch.
Cooper and Bret headed up the roller coaster.

And they made it.

Lyndon's turn.
