Cooper was baptized the morning of Christmas eve. That evening we had Mike and Amber Knotts over for dinner. They are an awesome couple with a miracle little girl, Elizabeth. They found out when Amber was pregnant that their little girl had trisomy 13. Doctors told them that Elizabeth would probably not survive and if she did survive birth she probably would only live an hour or so. They also advised Amber to terminate the pregnancy. They obviously didn't terminate it. Elizabeth was born and has had some complications but is now almost 8 months old. Most of that time has been in the hospital. They did get to take her home a couple times though. Even when she was born the doctors here wanted Mike and Amber to sign a DNR. They refused to and all 3, Mike, Amber, and Elizabeth are fighters for her life. She just recently had heart surgery and is doing pretty good and the doctors are amazed with her. It was great to have Mike and Amber in our home. After they left we set up for Santa and went to bed. Christmas morning we woke up and had a great day celebrating Christ's birth and being with family.
