London-Big ben, Westminster Abbey, Tower Bridge

I am so slow at posting these things. I do want them documented though so better late than never right? Four days after coming home from Hawaii, I left on a girls trip to London, England!!! We planned this trip first and then my sisters wedding was planned so it just kinda worked out that way being so close together. I was tired but still had a good time!  I had two amazing trips one right after the other. For real, Hawaii and London are on the top of my favorites list! Holy cow, we had so much fun. Just looking back at these pictures again makes me so happy. I will go back to London or just England in general before we leave Europe. It was so awesome. It was fun to see all the historical places but everything was in english!
The first day we were there we went across the Tower Bridge, under London Bridge, Saw the Big Ben clock tower and toured Westminster Abbey. Westminster was awesome. I did not realize how many famous people are buried there or have a memorial for them like, Handel, Jane Austen, Shakespeare, Charles Darwin, Isaac Newton, Charles Dickens, lots of kings and queens, and so many more!

We made it to London and our place we were staying at! Me, Rachel, Amy, and Jill.

The little kitchen. When you are with relaxed people and no kids, it was not a big deal.

The alley way to get to our apartment. It was toward the end on the right.

Both Amy and Jill's husband are Optometrists. The place we stayed at was right by this eye clinic.

Ready to ride the "tube".

I have heard the phrase "mind the gap" and heard the conference talk that takes about it. I loved being there and actually seeing it and hearing the recorded lady saying, in an english accent, "mind the gap" over and over as you get of the tube.

One place i'd love to go back and tour.

The Tower Bridge!

Walking across the bridge.

The classic double decker red buses!

We got of the little ferry ride and walked up the steps and this was the view!

We sat and ate our lunch right here. It was pretty awesome.

We thought about riding the London Eye but decided against it.

Westminster Abbey. We couldn't take any pictures inside but I did get some of the outside.

The middle court yard like area of the Abbey.

Another doorway of the Abbey.
