We already had plans to go to my parents for Thanksgiving. So when we found out that Bret's sister Sadie would be reporting to the MTC on the 19, which was the week before Thanksgiving. We decided we wanted to see her before she left so we made a longer thanksgiving trip.
My sister Renee, who lives in N Utah, flew out to NM and brought my nephew Ken with her as just a fun auntie trip for Ken. The 2 of them drove back with us to Utah. We may have had an extra child with us but we also had an extra adult also. She helped a lot. Really Ken kept my kids entertained and vice versa. She kept us all fed. It was great!
We drove first to Albuquerque and stayed the night there. Cooper lost his first tooth while we were there! It was exciting. That tooth needed to come out. The permanent one was already growing in behind it. We then drove to Highland the next day and stayed at my aunts house for a couple days.

| We had to have breakfast at Frontier before we started our drive to Utah. We also had to take a picture with John Wayne while we were in Frontier. |

| At one point during our drive Bret said he wanted a snack. I asked what he wanted. He told me milk and cookies...he's lucky we had a little bit of milk with us in our cooler and cookies. |
