5 years ago, yesterday was a big day for Bret and I! I am so glad that I was sealed to Bret and I get to be with him forever! A great quote- "I believe that the most important single thing that you will ever do in this world is to marry the right person, in the right place, by the right authority" -Bruce R McConkie
Here is what we did on our anniversary, it was also a big day. First we started off with an Easter egg hunt in the morning at Copps, a grocery store. It was for ages 2 and i think up to 8. Each age group had an isle assigned to them to go down and get candy.
| Hangin out at the starting line with our friends, the Shorters. |
| Cooper getting some candy. |
| Cooper showing of his candy. Lynndon surprised at his loot. |
| There were 4 eggs hidden, if you found one you got prize. Cooper found one and this is his prize. |
Then later in the morning was our ward egg hunt. They had a little lesson in the primary room and then the kids were free to go out and find some eggs and candy.
| Cooper and his friend Silas that joined us for the hunt. His dad is in Bret's class. |
| Lynndon and Gideon, Silas' brother |
After the ward egg hunt we came home put a lunch together and headed off to Milwaukee for a Brewers game. Bret's dad, sister and some of her friends came to the game also. It was fun to have them there with us! It was such a good came too. Brewers won 6-0!
| Waiting to go in. |
| Watching batting practice. (For almost every picture I took at the game Cooper would try to hide) |
| Sitting with Bernie :) |
| Sadie and her friends went and sat way up at the top...about 6 row behind us...Cooper and Lynndon had fun going back and forth between them and us. |
| The story behind this picture: Bret says to me you should take a pic of the field. I get the camera out and he says hurry get a picture of this its going to be a good one. Turns out it was. You can see in the picture he has just hit the ball. It was a home run! |
| And the fireworks for that home run. There were 3 that night. |
| Lynndon was VERY friendly with everyone around us. The whole game she would look at people and say Hi and wave. Even with the people in front of us she would put her hand on their shoulder and get really close to there face and say HI. The lady in this picture took a bunch of pictures of Lynndon and her little boy playing. |
| Our family at the game. (Cooper once again being a bum and not looking at the camera) |
