I have been wanting to take pics of these houses and post this since we moved into this apartment...2+ years ago. I am finally doing it! These houses are crazy. Most of these houses are just within a few blocks from us so I go by them almost everyday. Every time I pass by them I just smile and wonder what the people were thinking when they chose the paint color. After living in Madison for the last 3 years it doesn't really surprise me that people would do this. These are some gutsy brave people. I love bright colors but...for my house?

I've SO been meaning to do this exact thing. Some of them are unbelievable. Especially the pepto one. And I'm pretty sure that barn one didn't use the right kind of paint. It's so shiny!
I too, have meant to do this. I have gotten pictures of the Barney house and the pepto bismo one, but there are tons of houses down town that also deserve a photo shoot.
