Appleton

 One of Bret's rotations was up in Appleton. So we got to stay there with Bret's family for a couple of weeks. It was great! Bret got home at a decent time, we got to go on a longer date, I had some help with the kids during the day and some one to talk to. While we were there a family friend, Shirley (aka g-ma Shirley), came to visit from Iowa. It was fun to see and talk to her. We also did some apple picking and got a ton of yummy apples. We went up to Green Bay for a couple days and hung out with Bret's brother Bart and his family. The last weekend we were there was Appleton North High school's (the high school bret went to) homecoming game. So Bret and I took Cooper to the game. It's been a while since I have been to a high school football game. It was really fun and cooper loved going to the game with just mom and dad and not Lynndon. We all had a good time. It is great to have family close by.
