Grand Canyon & Baby Ken

I didn't get any pictures at Zions but here are a few from the Grand Canyon. The other pics are of my nephew Ken. He was born just a few days before Cooper and I got there. It was so fun to see and hold him. He is so cute! When he was born he was almost the exact size as Cooper was when he was born .

Hiro, Renee, Cooper, Charise, Brian.

Looking down at the canyon with g-ma Bobbie.

Cooper climbed up this rock all on his own.

Hiro and Cooper. Cooper has a thing for Asians. Both times we have gone back to Utah with him he has LOVED our foreign exchange students.

Just admiring baby Ken.

Cuddling with Ken. Cooper just decided to lay down right next to him.

Cooper loved holding baby Ken. He would try to get in between the person holding Ken and Ken so that he could hold him. As he would shimmy his way in he would say "hold it". (sorry this pic is blurry)

Baby Ken (sorry this one is blurry also)

bret,charise and cooper!
sounds and looks like you guys are all doing greaT! i made crescent rolls today and i couldn't remember if i had gotten you the recipe yet. so here it goes!

2 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1 TBL salt
1/2 cup powdered milk
7-8 cups flour
2 1/2 cup warm water
2 TBL yeast
2/3 cup oil

Dissolve sugar in warm water. Sprinkle yeast on top. Let stand for 3-4 minutes. Add salt, oil and milk; mix. Add eggs; mix again. Add 1/2 flour; beat with mixer. Spray a big tupperware bowl with vegetable spray and dump mixture in bowl. Then add the rest of the flour and mix well with a spoon. Cover and let raise for 1-1/2 hour. Divide dough in fours. Roll each one in a circle (with a little flour so you can work with it) and roll out and cut into triangles. Roll into crescent rolls. Spray pan (or use parchment paper and spray it) and put rolls on pan and let rise for 1 hour. Bake at 400 for 10-12 minutes. (I always take rolls out and turn over and put back in oven for a little bit until bottom of rolls are brown and then you don't have soggy doughy rolls)
Brush butter on top and eat em up!!!

Good Luck!!!
Hope all is well! Have a great day
