For Coopers birthday we did 2 little parties. On Sunday, the day before, with family. We gave him a cupcake that night to dig into. Then the day of his birthday we had friends over and gave him a bigger cake. It took him awhile to figure out the cupcake but once he did he chowed it right down. As for the cake, I don't think he ate any of it but made a pretty good mess with it. I think he had a good time. We probably had more fun watching him then he did It was a pretty good day. He loves all his new toys and enjoyed everyone singing to him.
